Philly Queer Birders and BirdPhilly are teaming up for an exciting walk at Pennypack on the Delaware (POD) on Saturday, October 16th 8am-10am. They have brought on not one, not two, but THREE amazing walk leaders to offer up their birding experience and knowledge: Holger, Patrick, and Peter! All walk info including accessibility, possible carpooling, and exact location in the registration form. Registration appreciated, but not required.
Bartram's Garden 10/17
Join Philly Queer Birders, In Color Birding Club, and Feminist Bird Club for a stationary birding event, the Little Sit, at Bartram's Garden on Sunday, October 17th 8am-11am! This will be a morning of intentionally accessible birding in support of Birdability Week! Birdability Week is a celebration of birders with disabilities and is an effort to make birding more accessible for all. We encourage people with all skill levels to attend (even if you have never been birding!) and if you have an accessibility question, request, or need, please include it in our registration form. All are welcome! Folks are encouraged to show up at any time during the sit and can stay for as long or as short as they want.
Registration is optional, but appreciated. All accessibility info is included in the registration form.
